Alewya of Egyptian and Ethiopian descent, grew up nestled in a London community rich with diaspora from around the globe. An exceptional singer/songwriter, producer and multidisciplinary artist, both her music and her art are deep brooding through euphoria, headache, melancholy and back again. Alewya is challenging you to remember the last time you really felt connected. And as she finds the connection between disparate worlds, Alewya wants to make you feel, and make you dance.

Having already caused a major stir with her debut single Sweating in 2020, Alewya has gone on to release her latest singles Jagna & Spirit_X which precede an EP in summer 2021 and several festival performances in the summer.

She has also recently been collaborating with the likes of Moses Boyd on the single The Code and featured on the Little Simz track ‘Where’s My Lighter’ who she will also be supporting on tour at the end of 2021.
