bluedot in the community

In our mission to be good neighbours we want to both engage and support our local community. Consequently, we are always looking for local charities that we can support and ways we can integrate with local community groups.

Charity donations

So far since the conception of Bluedot we have raised and donated £21,900 to local causes. We are keen to continue to support charities in the surrounding area and in 2022 we launched our community fund which we are pleased to confirm will continue this year. Charities within a 5 mile radius of Jodrell Bank can nominate themselves to be considered for the fund. Applications for the Bluedot Community Fund are now closed.

Local Suppliers

Calling all local suppliers!

We are looking for local businesses to nominate themselves as preferred suppliers for the Festival, so that we can promote your services to businesses trading at Bluedot. If you would like to be considered please complete this form by 4th July.

Volunteering and work experience

We would love for you to be involved! If you are aged 18 or over you can volunteer for the festival. In exchange for just a few hours of your time you will receive a wristband to the event, alongside plenty of free time to enjoy all that the festival has to offer as well as the chance to take home memories for life and meet lots of likeminded people.

If you are interested in volunteering or work experience then please contact us on residents@discoverthebluedot.com If you are part of a local group or organisation who would like to get involved please contact us residents@discoverthebluedot.com so we can discuss your ideas further.
